The Association owns all amenities and recreation facilities (except for the country club and golf course) and is managed by a paid, on-site staff. The Association provides a Public Safety Department with 24-hour a day uniformed patrol officers and emergency medical response. Our Code Enforcement team administers covenant and architectural controls along with enforcement of the Rules and Regulations. Community Services produces recreational and social events for the members, and our Operations Department maintains the lake, common areas and recreational facilities for Spring Valley Lake.
Recreational amenities include a beach/swimming area, picnic facilities and a full range of boating activities such as water skiing, windsurfing, wakeboarding and jet skiing. There are also 14 fishing areas on the shores of the lake and the Association has a marina with 105 boat slips available to rent to Association members. Other amenities include the 10-acre Meadowlark Park, which has playgrounds and playing fields and on which a 9,400 square foot, multi-purpose community building is located.
Long Acres Park, Playfair Park, a 25-stall equestrian center with a show ring and several miles of bridle trails are located in the Equestrian Estates. All are a part of SVLA’s amenities.

Fishing Areas
SVLA is home to 14 designated fishing areas located throughout the community, offering peaceful and convenient spots for residents to enjoy shoreline fishing. These areas are exclusively available to residents and provide a great way to relax, connect with nature, and enjoy the beauty of our lake. Whether you’re an experienced angler or just starting out, our fishing spots are perfect for all skill levels.
Lake
Spring Valley Lake is a 200-surface-acre man-made lake with over 7.9 miles of shoreline and scenic channels lined with lakefront homes. With depths ranging from 9 to 22 feet and stretching 6,050 feet at its longest point, the lake holds approximately 1,760 acre-feet (over 573 million gallons) of water at its normal level. Residents enjoy the lake year-round for boating, fishing, water sports, and swimming.

Vessel Registration
SVLA offers vessel registration for both powered and non-powered watercraft exclusively to homeowners. Powered vessels such as boats and jet skis must be registered annually to operate on the lake. We also welcome non-powered vessels, including paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes, for those who prefer a quieter experience on the water. All vessels must be registered and display valid SVLA decals before use.
